  • This position is primarily responsible for working directly with customers and staff, providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. Good organizational, interpersonal, scheduling, and professional phone skills are necessary. This is a full-time position, with a 40 hour per week Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and is not eligible for alternative work schedules. Ability to report to office location and attend meetings when required. Bilingual and able to read, write and speak in English and Spanish proficiently, is required.


  • Serves as the primary receptionist; answers and directs incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system, takes messages, and provides general information; greets and directs visitors; answers routine inquires.
  • Greets visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs; monitors visitor access.
  • Responsible for open and close procedures each day.
  • Opens, reads, routes, and distributes incoming mail and other material and answer routine letters.
  • Completes correspondence and uses appropriate formats in accordance with company procedures.
  • Performs a variety of typing and data entry assignments; prepares and prints routine correspondence, letters, labels, and/or other basic written material.
  • Supports program operations and other departments as necessary.
  • Prepares bulk mailings.
  • Makes copies of materials as requested; may oversee day-to-day operation of copy machine; may prepare and transmit facsimiles.
  • Transmits information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
  • Schedules or assists in scheduling appointments, meetings, and/or conferences; maintains and updates appointment and program calendars.
  • Understands and applies specific instructions and procedures of the organization.
  • Attends mandatory staff meetings and staff trainings.
  • Perform various routine errands, as required, for the organization.
  • May serve as a presenter on ELCPBC social media and/or internet-based platforms such as but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram.
  • Performs other duties that may be necessary to maintain the success of the organization, as determined by management.


  • A High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two years administrative office experience is required.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
  • Must be Tech savvy overall, using cloud-based systems, IOS, Windows 8 and 10, with an advanced level of computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience working in a customer service environment.
